The journey start from Nairobi heading to Samburu national reserve, Samburu national reserve is located on the bank of the Ewaso ngiro river and neighboring buffalo springs national reserve on the opposite bank.it covers 165km2 and, in the middle of the reserve, the Ewaso ngiro flows through doum palm groves and thick riverine forest that provide water. Without which the game in the reserve would not survive. the Samburu national reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George Adamson and joy Adamson raised Elsa the lioness.
The Samburu national reserve is also the home of Kamunyak (the blessed one) a lioness who adopted six oryx calves between 2002 and 2003.
The journey continues to the most beautiful conservancy the “Olpejeta conservancy” where you experience a game drive with the mixture of the black and southern white rhino and not forgetting the extinct northern white rhino (the only 2 remaining in the world) olpejeta conservancy is also the home of Chimpanzees.
The adventure continues to the most beautiful part, the lake Naivasha the freshwater Lake located on northwest of Nairobi, (outside the town of naivasha lies in the great Rift Valley) the name lake naivasha is derived from the maasai name “Naiposha” meaning “rough water”
The lake is approximately 139km2 and the highest of the rift valley lakes at 1884m (6180ft) much of it is surrounded by flower farms increasing by fewer swamps. It is nevertheless pristine and rich with birdlife.
Last but not least we get to the Maasai Mara the best-known and most popular wildlife reserve in Africa. It is in the northern-most section of the mara-Serengeti ecosystem.
